NOTICE

The Delaware Township Board of Supervisors has canceled the meeting scheduled for  November 22, 2017.  A special meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 for the purpose of discussing the FY 2018 budget and considering advertisement for public inspection at 6:00 p.m. at the Delaware Township Municipal Building, 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328.

Roadmaster Wanted

The roadmaster shall (1) report to the board of supervisors any information that may be required by the board of supervisors and by the Department of Transportation; (2) inspect all roads and bridges as directed by the board of supervisors; and (3) do or direct to be done all work necessary to carry out the responsibilities imposed by the board of supervisors with respect to the maintenance, repair and construction of township roads.  Knowledge of standard road maintenance practices, with knowledge of the use and care of hand tools and equipment.  Must possess a valid PA Commercial Driver’s License. Plowing experience, a must.  Supervisory experience in public works a plus.  Hours are Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 3:30pm; 40 hours per week, position is salaried with availability needed for nights, holidays and weekends when necessary.  Send resume via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. Road Crew Help Wanted

The Road Crew assists with road crew, performing asphalt hole-patching repair, brush and tree removal, mowing and related maintenance and repair.  Assists with sign replacement.  Provides maintenance for facilities and storage yard, including sweeping, mowing, cleaning, painting and other general maintenance.  Assists with replacing or repairing culverts, road and ditch pipes, tiles, and other drainage structures.  Shovels crushed stone, sand, asphalt and salt from trucks.  Responsible for guiding traffic through construction zones.  Performs all other duties as assigned.  Knowledge of standard road maintenance practices, with knowledge of the use and care of hand tools and equipment.  Must be 18 years old and in possession of a valid commercial driver's license.  Plowing experience a must.  Hours are Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 3:30pm; 40 hours per week.  Send resume via email to This email address is being protected from spambots.             NOTICE is hereby given that the Delaware Township Board of Supervisors will accept letters of interest for a vacancy on the Planning Commission. Residency in Delaware Township is required.  The Planning Commission meets on the 1^st and 3^rd Tuesday of every month at 6:30p.m. The position is volunteer, and appointment will become effective immediately.
