NOTICE OF DELAWARE TOWNSHIP PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND ORDINANCE 601 ESTABLISHING A PLANNING COMMISSION TO ALTER THE AMOUNT OF MEMBERS

 The Delaware Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing to amend Ordinance 601 on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 7:15 p.m. in the Delaware Township Municipal Building located at 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, PA.  The purpose of the hearing is to amend Ordinance 601 to alter the membership of the Planning Board to consist of five members instead of seven.

Ordinance 601 can be reviewed in its entirety at the Delaware Township Municipal Office located at 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Delaware Township Board of Supervisors will hold workshops to discuss the FY 2023 budget on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, Wednesday, October 12, 2022 and Wednesday, October 26, 2022 directly following the regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors at the Delaware Township Municipal Building, 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry PA 18328. The public is invited to participate.

Seasonal Maintenance Help Wanted

Delaware Township’s Akenac Park is seeking part time, seasonal maintenance help. 

Duties as follows:  hours 3:00pm to 7:00pm, weekends required, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen and recreation facilities along with general maintenance duties as assigned.  $10 per hour.

Assistant Roadmaster Wanted

The Assistant Roadmaster shall (1) report to the Roadmaster any information that may be required by the board of supervisors and by the Department of Transportation; (2) inspect all roads and bridges as directed; and (3) do or direct to be done all work necessary to carry out the responsibilities imposed by the roadmaster with respect to the maintenance, repair and construction of township roads and facilities.  Knowledge of standard road maintenance practices, with knowledge of the use and care of hand tools and equipment.  Must possess a valid PA Commercial Driver’s License. Plowing experience required.  Supervisory experience required.  Hours are Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 3:30pm; 40 hours per week, with availability needed for nights, holidays and weekends when necessary.  Send resume via email to This email address is being protected from spambots.
