DEPUTY COORDINATOR OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
Delaware Township is seeking a volunteer to serve as the appointed Deputy Coordinator of Emergency Management. The deputy coordinator serves under the Emergency Management Coordinator and assists as needed in all phases of the Township's emergency management plan – mitigation, preparation, response and recovery. Both administrative and operational field work are required as well as completing a state mandated online training curriculum to become certified. A valid Pa. Driver’s license and background check are required No experience is required but any background in planning or emergency services is a plus and will be considered. COVID-19 Protective Measures by Delaware Township
- The Delaware Township Office will be closed as of 12pm Friday, March 13, 2020.
- Moving forward, the Township Office will only be open to residents on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am to 10am or by appointment only.
- All Township Facilities are closed to outside groups/organizations through April 30, 2020.
- The Delaware Township Library and Historical Society are closed through April 30, 2020.
- Akenac Park is closed through April 30, 2020.
- The Delaware Township Easter event scheduled for April 4, 2020 is cancelled.
- The Delaware Township Planning Commission meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 17, 2020 is cancelled.
These measures will be revisited by the Board of Supervisors as needed.

NOTICE OF DELAWARE TOWNSHIP PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND ORDINANCE 110 AND ORDINANCE 901 DEFINTIONS ADDING SIGN REGULATIONS
PLEASE BE ADVISED that the Delaware Township Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing to amend Ordinance 110 and Ordinance 901 on the 11th day of March 2020, at 7:15 p.m., at the Delaware Township Municipal Building located at 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania 18328. The purpose of the hearing is to amend Ordinance 110.18 adding sign regulations and to amend Ordinance 901 to include the definitions regarding signs.
Ordinance 110 and 901 can be reviewed in its entirety at the Delaware Township Municipal Office located at 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Delaware Township Board of Supervisors will accept letters of interest for vacancies on the Recreation Committee, the Zoning Hearing Board and the Building Hearing Board. The Recreation Committee meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:00p.m.; the Zoning Hearing Board and Building Hearing Board meet on an as needed basis. The positions are volunteer, and appointment will become effective immediately. Residency in Delaware Township is required. Please send letters of interest and brief background information by email to
