Pennsylvania American Water Company (PAWC) Wild Acres Development Wastewater Facilities Improvements

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that Pennsylvania American Water Company (PAWC) has prepared an Act 537 Plan Update for the Wild Acres Subdivision service area in Delaware Township, Pike County. This plan is for the sole purpose of addressing the PADEP Act 537 requirements for the proposed upgrades to the wastewater disposal system currently servicing Wild Acres Subdivisions 19 through 22 with an approximate location of 110 South Court, Dingmans Ferry, Delaware Township, Pike County, Pennsylvania. The proposed wastewater facility will be a multi-residential community on-lot disposal system located within 60-acres of PAWC’s existing 140-acre parcel capable of servicing up to 80 residential lots located in the Wild Acres Development Subdivisions 19-21. The proposed Wild Acres wastewater facility upgrades involve the use of an on-lot disposal system containing daily flows greater than 10,000 gallons per day; thus, public notification is required under the PADEP Sewage Facilities Plan Update. Upon publication of this notice, a 30-day review and comment period is in effect. Anyone wishing to review and/or comment may do so during this 30-day period. Anyone requesting a hard copy of the Act 537 Component 2 Plan Update should request it through Delaware Township. The Act 537 Plan Update can be reviewed at the Delaware Township building located at Delaware Twp., 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18325 (570-828-2347). All written comments must be submitted within 30 calendar days of publication of this notice to Pennsylvania American Water to the attention of:
