Pike County Transportation

Shared Ride Program: This program allows seniors of Pike County access to medical, financial, and social services. Simply call for a reservation and leave the driving to us! We service all three senior centers, grocery shopping, banking, and post office needs provided on scheduled days. Drivers are courteous and considerate. Reduced fare required for Seniors. All Seniors who are 65+ with proof of age are eligible to use our Shared Ride Program. Age verification is required. Download the enrollment form

Pike County

Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP): This program allows medical assistance recipients (regardless of age) access to medical and pharmacy needs only. Reservations required. The Transportation Department will assess the mode of transportation to be provided. Destinations will be to medical assistance providers only. NO EXCEPTIONS. Verification and eligibility required on a regular basis. Download the enrollment form

People With Disabilities (PwD): This program allows individuals [8-64 years of age access to the same services as the Shared Ride schedule. Disabilities may include physical, mental, or major life activities. Escorts are the responsibility of the client, and there is no fare required for the escorts. Clients are responsible for there own fare. Download the enrollment form

General Public (GP): All other transportation needs are considered general public and follow the same schedules listed in the other programs. Download the enrollment form

It is your responsibility to obtain, complete, and submit an application. Further,please verify receipt of the application and that you are entered into our database in one week.


  • Appointments must be made between 10:00AM and 1:00PM
  • You must be ready I hour prior to your scheduled appointment
  • Consumers are responsible for paying all tolls to and from their destination
  • All transportation is shared and coordinated with others accessing the same
    areas. Please call for pick up times.
