Assistant Roadmaster Wanted
The Assistant Roadmaster shall (1) report to the Roadmaster any information that may be required by the board of supervisors and by the Department of Transportation; (2) inspect all roads and bridges as directed; and (3) do or direct to be done all work necessary to carry out the responsibilities imposed by the roadmaster with respect to the maintenance, repair and construction of township roads and facilities. Knowledge of standard road maintenance practices, with knowledge of the use and care of hand tools and equipment. Must possess a valid PA Commercial Driver’s License. Plowing experience required. Supervisory experience required. Hours are Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 3:30pm; 40 hours per week, with availability needed for nights, holidays and weekends when necessary. Send resume via email to
