Public Hearing Regarding Blue Ridge Cable Franchise Renewal for the Township of Delaware
Notice is hereby given that the Township of Delaware will hold a public hearing regarding cable franchise renewal with Blue Ridge. The public hearing will take place on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 7:15 p.m. at the Township Building located at 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328. Citizens are invited to testify. The purpose of the public hearing is to review the past performance of Blue Ridge and to identify the future cable-related community needs of the Township. Questions may be directed to Krista N. The Planning Commission meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6:30p.m. The position is volunteer, and appointment will become effective immediately. NOTICE OF DELAWARE TOWNSHIP PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND ORDINANCE 901 DEFINTIONS REGARDING SHEDS AND LAND DEVELOPMENT
PLEASE BE ADVISED that the Delaware Township Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing to amend Ordinance 901 on the 25th day of April, 2018, at 7:15 p.m., at the Delaware Township Municipal Building located at 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania 18328. The purpose of the hearing is to amend Ordinance 901 to include the definitions of shed and update the definition of land development with exception.
Ordinance 901 can be reviewed in its entirety at the Delaware Township Municipal Office located at 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Delaware Township seeks qualified candidates for the following seasonal part-time employment opportunities – Memorial Day through Labor Day:
Lifeguards
Must be CPR and lifeguard/lakefront certified. Duties include enforcing all facility policies, inspection of equipment, record keeping, and additional duties as assigned by Supervisor. Must be available for rotating shifts as scheduled including weekends and holidays.
Gatekeepers
Must be reliable and self-motivated. Must be available for rotating shifts as scheduled including weekends and holidays.
Public Works
Duties include opening/closing park facilities as well as upkeep of all publicly owned facilities, mowing grass, manual labor, etc. Applicants interested in continuing seasonally year to year preferred.
