NOTICE is hereby given that the Delaware Township Board of Supervisors will accept letters of interest for vacancies on the Planning Commission, Recreation Committee and the Zoning Hearing Board. The Planning Commission meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6:30p.m.; the Recreation Committee meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:00p.m.; and the Zoning Hearing Board meets on an as needed basis at 6:00p.m. The positions are volunteer, and appointment will become effective immediately. Pursuant to the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act, the act of May 19, 1995, P.L. 4, No. 1995-2, notice is hereby givent hat Dingmans Fuel Transfer Corporation has submitted tot he Pennsylvania Departemnt of Environmental Protection (PADEP) a Notice of Intent to Remediate at the property located at 1596 Dingmans Turnpike (PA Route 739) in Delaware Township, Pike County, PA. This Notice of Intent to Remediate states that site soil was impacted by diesel fuel due to spillage from spent fuel filters staged on site. Contaminated soil has been excavated and the excavated soil was disposed of at a licensed facility. Excavation end-point samples collected in accordance PA Code Title 25, Chapter Section 250.707(b)(1)(iii)(B)(VI) met the stricest PADEP medium specific concentrations and thereby serve to demonstrate that the Statewide ehalth Standard was attained. The remedial measures (i.e., excavation and off-site disposal of contaminated soil) have minimized the potential for human and environmental exposure. Attainment of the Statewide Health Standard is being sought for the site. The selected standards are established under the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act (Act 2). These remedial actions offer the optimum solution for continued use of the site. No adverse environmental effects are anticipated; therefore, this release has been concluded to have no significant environmental impact.

Notice is hereby given that the meetings for the Delaware Township Board of Supervisors for 2019 will be on the second (2nd) and fourth (4th) Wednesday of each month on the following dates: January 9th and 23rd, February 13th and 27th, March 13th and 27th, April 10th and 24th, May 8th and 22nd, June 12th and 26th, July 10th and 24th, August14th and 28th, September 11th and 25th, October 9th and 23rd, November 13th and 27th, and December 11th.
All meetings to be held at the Delaware Township Municipal Building(s), located at 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328. Workshops will begin at 6:00 p.m. and regular meetings at 7:00 p.m.
