Delaware Township seeks qualified candidates for the following seasonal part-time employment opportunities – Memorial Day through Labor Day:

Lifeguards
Must be CPR and lifeguard/lakefront certified. Duties include enforcing all facility policies, inspection of equipment, record keeping, and additional duties as assigned by Supervisor. Must be available for rotating shifts as scheduled including weekends and holidays.

Gatekeepers
Must be reliable and self-motivated. Must be available for rotating shifts as scheduled including weekends and holidays.

Park Supervisor
Duties include opening/closing park facilities, scheduling and managing seasonal staff, enforcing policies, record keeping, scheduling and overseeing events, as well as other tasks as requested by administration. Experience managing lifeguards preferred. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Must hold a valid state driver’s license.

Public Works
Duties include upkeep of all publicly owned facilities, mowing grass, manual labor, etc. Applicants interested in continuing seasonally year to year preferred.

The Delaware Township Recreation Committee will hold regularly scheduled meetings on the second (2nd) Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.  These meetings will be held at the Delaware Township Municipal Building, located at 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Delaware Township Board of Supervisors will accept letters of interest for vacancies on the Planning Commission, Recreation Committee and the Zoning Hearing Board. The Planning Commission meets on the 1^st and 3^rd Tuesday of every month at 6:30p.m.; the Recreation Committee meets on the 2^nd Tuesday of every month at 6:00p.m.; and the Zoning Hearing Board meets on an as needed basis at 6:00p.m. The positions are volunteer, and appointment will become effective immediately.
