The Recreation Committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.; The position is volunteer, and appointment will become effective immediately. Must have a passion for events and community programs. DEPUTY COORDINATOR OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

Delaware Township is seeking a volunteer to serve as the appointed Deputy Coordinator of Emergency Management. The deputy coordinator serves under the Emergency Management Coordinator and assists as needed in all phases of the Township's emergency management plan – mitigation, preparation, response and recovery. Both administrative and operational field work are required as well as completing a state-mandated online training curriculum to become certified. A valid Pa. Drivers license and background check are required.  No experience is required but any background in planning or emergency services is a plus and will be considered. NOTICE OF DELAWARE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ALTHIN CONDITIONAL USE

PLEASE BE ADVISED that the Delaware Township Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing regarding the Althin conditional use on the 8^th day of January, 2025, at 7:30 p.m., at the Delaware Township Municipal Building located at 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania 18328.  The purpose of the hearing is regarding the establishment of a minor commercial resort on property located at 324 Silver Lake Road, Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania also known as parcel no. 162.00-01-64.003 owned by Shannon and Eric Althin .  The proposed minor resort consists of an existing two-bedroom cabin and one bedroom cottage with the intention of hosting one small group at a time with a personalized resort-like experience immersed in nature which will include picnic basket options, an in-house chef for special occasions, yoga and meditation sessions, swimming, fishing, foraging, and hiking.  The project is located in the Residential Zoning District and a minor commercial resort is listed as a conditional use within the residential district in accordance with the Delaware Township Zoning Ordinance.

The conditional use plans can be reviewed in their entirety at the Delaware Township Municipal Office located at 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
